Migration Information Desk (MID)

The Municipality of Budapest in close partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has opened the Migration Information Desk at its Client Services Department located on Bárczy István Street near Deák Ferenc Square. The Migration Information Desk is expected to be in operation between 1st October 2017 and 30th June 2018.
 
The Migration Information Desk has been set up within the framework of the project called "Migrants in Cities: Improving Local Integration Services in Budapest" (AMIF-2.3.2/3-2016-00001), which is funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) of the European Union and the Ministry of Interior of Hungary.
 
The Migration Information Desk aims to provide third country nationals legally residing in Hungary with information, counseling and assistance regarding their rights, obligations and services specifically tailored to them as well as various aspects of everyday life such as public administration, education, healthcare, labor market integration, social services, migrant support services and so on.
