The new road intersection at Budaörsi út has been completed

The new two-level road intersection at Budaörsi út, built as part of the Metro Line 4 investments, has been completed and inaugurated. "With the development of Budaörsi út and the surrounding area, we can close up a problem unsolved for long years", said Mayor István Tarlós at the ceremony inaugurating the intersection.

- During the construction lasting altogether for 85 weeks the whole public utility infrastructure was changed, the public lighting was renewed, and at the end a two-level intersection, underground tunnels, accessible pedestrian crossings as well as a noise barrier have been built, said István Tarlós. He also recalled that the development of the hub was decided commitment towards the European Union, and one of the main goals was to provide a better access to the Metro Line 4, the public transport and intercity bus services as well as the P+R parking lots. Thanks to the investment fast, comfortable and safe transfers between the certain transport means will become easier, added the mayor.

The total costs of investment at Budaörsi úti reached HUF 7.2 billion, and every day around 120,000 drivers benefit from this investment.
